The Adeyemi College of Education is a higher educational institution situated in Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria. It is currently affiliated to the Obafemi Awolowo University.
ACEONDO was established in 1963 but It formally commenced operations on 22 May 1964 with Ninety-Four (94) students.
The Higher institution was founded to produced highly trained teachers to teach in secondary schools and teachers’ training colleges and to carry out research and experiments on the techniques of teaching at all levels of education in Nigeria.
The Adeyemi College of Education currently has five (5) schools Arts and Social Sciences, Languages, Education, Sciences and Vocational and Technical Education with a total of Twenty-Eight (28) academic departments.
The institution runs both National Certificate In Education (NCE) and degree programs in the above mentioned Five schools.

To be offered a place in Adeyemi College Of Education, applicants must fulfill all conditions or admission requirements to be offered provisional admission into the college.
- Candidate(s) who choose the Adeyemi College Of Education, Ondo as their first choice of institution during UTME and whose cut off points is 150 and above are eligible to apply. For degree programs, UTME applicants who score at least 200 and above are eligible.
- Direct Entry candidates with a minimum of 8 points, in NCE final exam, are also eligible to apply for degree programs.
- A candidate has to obtain any of WASSSC, NECO or GCE O Level with at least passes in Five (5) subjects to include English Language, 3 of which have to be at credit level at the same sitting or 4 credits at 2 sittings. Two of the credits have to be relevant to the program the candidates desire to offer.
- Credits in Mathematics and English may be requested or needed in some courses to meet departmental criteria.
- Candidates should also note that all full-time NCE courses will runed for a minimum of three regular years.
- Candidates who are interested in furthering their education can enroll for any of the degree programmes offered by the institution upon completion of their NCE courses.

The current tuition fee for fresh students is N80, 700 except for the school of sciences that charges a little above that amount. The returning students pay the sum of N57, 200 irrespective of their course of study.
