ADMISSION INTO OAUTHC COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, POST BASIC MIDWIFERY AND PERIOPERATIVE NURSING FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
Applications are hereby invited from suitable qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex,

- National Diploma (ND/HND) in Nursing
- Post Basic Midwifery Programme
- Post Basic Perioperative Nursing
1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND/HND) IN NURSING
Application Requirements:
- Applicants must possess WAEC: SSCE/GCE, NECO: SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- However, applicant(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with another results.
- Applicant(s) should be at least sixteen (16) years as at January, 2024.
Method of Application
- Applicant(s) must have sat for the year 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum UTME score of 180.
- Choose either OAUTHC College of Nursing Science, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife / Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first choice institution.
- It is compulsory for the interested applicant(s) to have sat for the following subjects’ combination in their UTME: English language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
- Candidates are to note that they could upon admission be posted to either of the colleges i.e Ife Hospital Unit or Wesley Guild Hopital, Ilesa Campus.
OAUTHC SCHOOL OF NURSING POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2024/2025 SESSION
OAUTHC Post UTME Screening Exercise will hold for candidates who:
- passed JAMB UTME with minimum score of 180.
- made OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ile-Ife/Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, as their first choice of institution, or those willing to change their institution and make OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ile-Ife/Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first choice for the approved programme.
- All candidates must ensure that they upload their O/Level results into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal and choose either OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, IHU, Ile-Ife or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State as their first choice of institution.
- Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the institution’s website: www.oauthc.com to complete and submit their application form.
- They are to upload scanned copies of birth certificate, O’level and UTME results.
- Candidates are expected to relogin back into their DASHBOARD and print the screening scheduled in two (2) copies of the application form after submission and come to the college for Post UTME screening at the scheduled date given on the printout form.
- Payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00) only for the Post UTME screening exercise and portal access fee of Six Thousand Naira (N6, 000.00) only which will include: –
- Access to the registration portal.
- Checking of date and venue of the screening exercise.
- Checking of the admission status.
- Printing of the admission letter.
- The total payment amounting to Eight Thousand Naira (N8, 000.00) only payable to College’s account through a generated remita.
Mode of Post UTME Screening Exercise
The OAUTHC School of Nursing Post UTME Screening would be conducted by Computer Based Test (CBT)

Date of Computer Based Test (CBT)
Computer Based Test shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Examination Selection Committee between Tuesday, 22th and Thusday, 24th October, 2024.
2. POST BASIC MIDWIFERY
This is an Eighteen Calendar Month Programme
Application Requirements:
Applicants must have the following requirements which includes:
- Possess WAEC: SSCE/GCE or NECO: SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

This is a Twelve Calendar Month Programme commencing in November, 2024.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must possess the following requirements which includes:

INVITATION AND ELIGIBILITY
This is to bring to the attention of the general public that the sales of forms for prospective candidates into the School of Health Information Management (SHIM) OAUTHC, Ile-Ife for 2024/2025 academic session is ongoing.
Interested candidates who must sit for the 2024 Post UTME examination and must have obtained:
- five (5) O’level credits at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Physics/Chemistry) are eligible to apply.
- In addition to the above, all ND applicants must know that final admission into this school shall be based on the JAMB – UTME approved cut-off marks (Cut Off mark is 180) as later decided by JAMB for Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education in the 2024/2025 academic session.
OAUTHC SCHOOL OF NURSING ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates seeking for ND admission must have obtained the minimum entry requirement of:
- five (5) credits at not more than two sittings in the WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry/Physics and any other subject such as Geography, Economics and Civic Education.
- Candidates who plan to sit for the 2024 Post UTME examination and have chosen this school (SHIM OAUTHC, Ile-Ife) in JAMB application are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who plan to sit for the year 2024 Post UTME EXAMINATION and chose SHIM, OAUTHC, ILE-IFE, as second choice and plan to do change of Institution to SHIM, OAUTHC, ILE-IFE if considered are qualified to apply.
- Candidates intending to pursue the 2-year HND programme must have obtained in addition to 5 credits O’levels, the National Diploma with professional license Certificates (not below Lower Credit) in Health Information Management, together with an evidence of completion of one year (compulsory) Industrial Attachment in a reputable health institution, or an individual with a technician/professional diploma from a recognized school of Health Technology with practicing license certificates.
CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION
Selection of candidates will be based on the possession of requisite academic qualification, good performance in both the written examination and oral interview. The written examination for ND applicants will be tested in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- General Paper.
While the written examination for HND applicants will be tested in:
- English Language
- Professional Courses
- General Paper.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested ND applicants are to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 while HND applicants are to pay N8,000.00 through REMITA payable to OAUTHC, Ile-Ife.
On presentation of the evidence of payment, application forms are to be collected from:

Completed application forms must be returned to the SHIM, OAUTHC not later than Tuesday, 10th September, 2024.

SPECIAL NOTICE
Upon completion of the course, graduates of the school are eligible to participate in the National Youth Service Corps Scheme (NYSC) of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
