Mr Macaroni grew up in a humble background with a journalist father and an educator mother. He transferred around three different universities after finishing secondary school for reasons ranging from non-accreditation of the course he was pursuing to difficulties with teachers.

Mr Macaroni has detailed his experience with depression a few years ago and how it aided his career.

He resorted to social media to say that he was sad in 2017/2018 and was expelled from his fourth university during that time.

It’s no secret that the actor attended four universities in ten years, including Leadcity, HNAUB (Cotonou), ABUAD, and Redeemers. He eventually graduated from RUN, though not without incident.

Mr Macaroni went on to say that from 2018 to 2019, he attempted to re-enter Nollywood but was duped. He went through another attack of melancholy in 2019 and settled for uploading things online, becoming popular the same year.

“Lol I was dealing with depression late 2017/2018,

That was the period I was expelled from Uni. And it was the 4th University at the time.

Abeg Wetin concern me with watching film then? My life sef na film wey people dey watch.

From 2018-2019 was another round of depression. I continued hustling for roles again in nollywood. I have been acting on and off since like 2011.

From one audition to another. Dem scam me tire. I dey pay for form ontop say I wan act….

I started creating contents and posting online late 2019 when depression wan finish me.

God picked my call same year.”

However, he began making humorous plays after being inspired by Maraji and Broda Shaggi. Currently, Mr. Macaroni is the founder of Mr. Macaroni Entertainment Ltd. An enrolled group that devotes a large amount of time to the arts and entertainment.

Mr Macaroni Early life

Adebowale David Ibrahim Adedayo, an Ogun State indigene, was born in Ogudu, Lagos in May 1993 into an Middle Class family. Debo grew up in Lagos’ Magodo neighborhood, attending Tendercare International Nursery and Primary School in Ojota, Ogudu, and presently Magodo, Isheri.

He attended Babcock University High School for his secondary school after finishing his primary education. Debo was admitted to Lead University, Ibadan, in 2009 to study law, but was forced to leave before his second year due to the university’s accreditation issues.

Debo was a law student at Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou, Benin, in 2011, however he was forced to quit before completing his degrees owing to his loud character and his advocacy for justice.

Debo decided to pursue his acting profession instead of pursuing his education after leaving Cotonou. He had a few appearances in movies and sitcoms, but his parents encouraged him to finish his schooling. This time, he decided to pursue Theatre Arts (his self-proclaimed first love) and was accepted into the same program at Afe Babalola University in Ado ekiti, Ekiti.

But, once again, a variety of factors conspired to keep him from finishing his education, and a year later, in 2013, an undeterred and determined Debo was admitted to Redeemer’s University Nigeria, Osun State, where he eventually earned a degree in his dream course, Theatre Arts and Film Studies, in 2018.
