FUTA Post-UTME Form 2024: Cut-off mark, Eligibility And Registration Details.
The departmental cut-off mark is the minimum score required for admission to a school’s course or department.
FUTA, for example, has a general cut-off mark of 180, but aggregate Departmental cut-off marks of 47.5, 74.37, and 69 for Agricultural Extension and Communication Technology AEC, Electrical & Electronics Engineering EEE, and computer science CSC respectively.
The more competitive the course, the higher the Cut-off Mark. Therefore, every year, each university sets a cut-off mark for all courses. Some departments publish their departmental cut-off marks, whereas others do not.
For the 2024/2025 academic session, the general Cut-off Mark for all courses at the Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA is 180.
So, every candidate that chose FUTA in their last JAMB is expected to score a minimum of 180 to be eligible to apply for the post utme form and have a chance to qualify for admission. Failure to score 180 is an automatic disqualification.
The Cut-Off mark for each varies depending on the performance of candidates who applied to study in the school for that year.

How To Calculate FUTA Aggregate Score
Every aspirant candidate that intends to participate in the Federal University of Technology Akure Post UTME Screening must know how to calculate their aggregate score for confirmation.
Follow the simple steps below to calculate your screening score.
- Divide your JAMB score by 8
- Divide your post UTME score by 2
- After which you add both of them together.
For example; You score 200 in JAMB and 80 in post UTME. That means;
If 200/8 = 25
And 80/2 = 40
Then, 25 + 40 = 65
Therefore your Aggregate Score is 65.
