Posted on April 19, 2025 By CampusTimesNG 224 Comments on Babcock University Cut Off Mark 2025/2026

This is all you need to know about Babcock University Cut Off Mark for students who wish to enroll for the next admission exercise. We will show you JAMB Cut Off Mark for Babcock University as well as the departmental cut off mark itself.

Babcock University is one of the best private Universities in Nigeria. Babcock University is a Christian co-educational Nigerian university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria. The University is located at Ilishan-Remo equidistant between Ibadan and Lagos.

The University conducts Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. If you wish to enroll for 2025/2026 admission, you should visit https://applications2.babcock.edu.ng

Babcock University Cut Off Mark

It is very easy to obtain admission if one has met the required cut off mark for admission into a particular course.

A Cut Off Mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as the basis of admitting students into any department of study.

This score is usually accredited to candidates based on their performance in a particular examination.

RECOMMENDED: Babcock University Post UTME Screening…

Babcock University Post-UTME Application

This is to inform the candidates who chose Babcock University as first choice in the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that they can now apply for the Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) by visiting; https://admissions.babcock.edu.ng

Babcock University Departmental Cut Off Mark

The Babcock University does not really have a specific cut off marks for courses. However, candidates who have scored a minimum of 170 in JAMB UTME examination are eligible to apply for admission into any courses of their choice.

Due to the high number of students wishing to study at the BU, the admission processes are competitive and an admission is given based on JAMB score and O level grades.

Below are various courses offered in the university including their departmental cut off mark:

220 – 240 –

  • Medicine (O’ Level result with one sitting only)
  • and Nursing

200 –

  • Mass Communication,
  • Common Law,
  • Anatomy,
  • Physiology

190 –

  • Computer Science,
  • English Language,
  • Biochemistry,
  • Microbiology,
  • Geology,
  • All engineering courses at the University except Agricultural and Bio-system Engineering.

Between 180 – 190

  • All other courses.

Babcock University Post UTME Cut Off Mark

JAMB fixed the cut off marks for Babcock University at 170. Candidates who have higher scores are first given preferential consideration in admission basics.

Candidates with low scores and are not able to meet the cut-off mark of 170 may likely not be admitted in their selected courses if their choice of courses is highly competitive. In fact, the higher a candidate’s score, the better the chance of being offered admission.

Besides, prospective candidates are required to obtain Babcock University Admission Form for screening and verification exercises, and applicants may not be admitted without fulfilling the requirements of the screening exercise.

      Hi Boss!
Let’s keep a positive mind about securing admission with 186 for Public Admin. However, Candidates with low scores and are not able to meet the cut-off mark of 180 may likely not be admitted in their selected courses if their choice of courses is highly competitive. In fact, the higher a candidate’s score, the better the chance of being offered admission.

Hi IBells, JAMB fixed the cut off marks for Babcock University at 180. Candidates who have higher scores are first given preferential consideration in admission basics.
You can possibly be offered admission if you meet all other admission requirements.
